Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Kits (06958)

Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Kit feature an "Organic"clutch disc thatwere built using premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst, it was designed to increase clamp loads and give the necessary capacity to handle mildly modified engine. Drivability is similar to stock clutch, Pedal effort is slightly higher than stock clutch because of the higher clamp load.  All Exedy stage 1 clutch disc have a spring center dampers to reduce drivetrain shock and help provide a smoother clutch engagement. 

The Exedy Stage 1 clutch cover aka "Clutch Pressure Plate" offers a clamping load that is approximately 40% higher than its OE version, which allow for a higher toque transmitting capacity.  Ductile material is used for all pressure plates and high burststrength can be achieved in all temperature ranges.

Ideal for street performance application such as tuned stock engine with bolt-ons.
